Meet The Team
Sajjad Ladha is one of the founders of Veloce Capital. His role is instrumental in directing Veloce Capital to ensure profitability and in new capital raises.
In addition to supporting US operations, Sajjad also heads Veloce Capital's international business. Having experience running companies in England, Tanzania, and Montenegro facilitates enhances the companies global reach.
Sajjad’s passion projects include establishing and running food banks, socially uplifting communities by financing need-based projects, and building vocational and training institutions in developing countries.
Founder & CEO
Surf has over 10 years of experience in real estate investments, development, and financing (equity, mezzanine, specialty financing), predominantly in Opportunity Zones and the revitalization of distressed real estate. Surf is involved in all aspects of the company’s leadership, from acquisition and structuring transactions.
Prior to Veloce Capital, Surf managed multiple holding companies where he participated as either equity, debt, or as a joint venture partner in the development and management of over $600M real estate investment properties across the United States.
His primary expertise resides in structuring complicated transactions and has oversight across all investments to expedient execution. Surf’s access to capital sources and extensive experience to source and offer investments to developers and accredited investors provides the opportunity for superior risk-adjusted returns.
Senior Vice President, Investor Relations
Frank has over 15 years of investment management, fund sales, and development experience. In addition to leading investor relations and business development, Frank oversees capital markets and institutional investors to secure capital (equity and debt) for funding facilities. Previously and currently, Frank has been a Chief Operating Officer at our private debt firm - Park Rock Capital, where he was responsible for developing entire firm operations, underwriting, and relationships with capital markets institutions and CMBS marketplace.
Previously, Frank was a Vice President of AmeriFund, where he originated commercial real estate loans. Before AmeriFund, Frank was an Asset Manager (GM) at ESA (Blackstone); Director of Sales/Investor Relations at SSC (hedge fund); Assistant Portfolio Manager at Capital Group ($50B portfolios); and a Manager of New York Office of Aspect Capital, ($5B London based hedge fund) and others.
As an Advisor at New York-based Academy, Frank mentors high school students and young professionals from diverse, minority, and immigrant backgrounds pursuing a college education and finance/business careers. He also led and served on Advisory Boards of immigrant community organizations in New York and as a judge and team advisor at MIT-based iGEM (global biotech start-up competition). Frank serves as a member of the Advisory Board at Design Thinking at Lubin School of Business of Pace University.

AR Mooney is a highly motivated and dedicated business development professional with over 30 years of experience in leveraging financial options connected to a diverse set of real estate investment options. His significant experience in leading accounts across all aspects of investor relations complements his core focus on enhancing Veloce Capital's broadening global reach to a vast clientele ranging from institutional to high-net-worth individuals.
Mooney's accomplishments in raising capital and managing investor relations are supported by providing capital market insight, investment management details, and optimizing client portfolios in real estate investment structures. Globally, AR Mooney's transactions have netted over $60MM in India, the UAE (Dubai), and the United States combined for more than 1,100 clients.
AR Mooney is an expert in providing financial portfolio solutions through a wealth of client experience, a track record for successful execution, and a network of professional relationships matched with the integrity of Veloce Capital's high-yielding return investments.
Vice President, Business Development
Rich Stanard is a highly accomplished business development executive with over 40 years of experience. Rich has an incredibly diverse background that leverages his connections in corporate sales in Fortune 100 Companies such as P&G, Merrill Lynch, Xerox, Exxon, and Quest Diagnostics.
Equally, Rich brings a unique connection to various groups. He serves as National Director of the Medical Missions for the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., comprising 17,000 Churches with over 5 million predominantly African American members nationally.
For Veloce Capital, Rich is responsible for forging relationships with investors and real estate industry professionals to drive business development to new levels and reach various groups to leverage the firm's investment opportunities.
Most importantly, Rich is Veloce Capital's key customer relations specialist who forms long-term strategic real estate connections in addition to supporting financial planning of individual assets and optimizing investment portfolios.
Rich is best known for his community outreach and participating in many relief projects. Katrina Medical Relief Effort, sheltering Hurricane Sandy victims, Haiti Earthquake Medical Missions, and National Black Barbershop Health Outreach Screening for diabetes and hypertension are just some of the organizations and volunteer projects he supports.
Rich constantly strives to enhance client relations by delivering consistent and superior service with the firm's investment partners while establishing new and recurring long-term partnerships to advance the firm's performance goal of delivering high-yielding returns.
Vice President, Acquisitions
Jodie has over 15 years of real estate investment experience in sales and business development for various asset classes. As VP of Acquisitions, Jodie creates a robust real estate development chain to ensure all projects are financed and have proper underwriting across multiple concurrent projects nationally.
Working alongside investors, developers, agents, and a host of connected real estate professionals, Jodie has amassed a massive network throughout the tri-state region to manage deals through to close.
Before joining Veloce Capital, Jodie was the Founder and SEO of JF Property Solutions, specializing in wholesale residential and commercial real estate while managing New Jersey and Pennsylvania's investment properties.
Vice President, US Southeast & LATAM Markets
Frank Moya has been in real estate and business development in Miami for over 20 years, which led him to build an extensive network of investors in Latin America and throughout the US Southeastern states.
Frank Moya's influence is evident in his client's investment performance and financial success, with over $100MM+ in sales matched with 17 years of mortgage and real estate sales.
At Veloce Capital, Frank Moya develops relationships with US-based and Latin American investor groups to expand the firm's capital sources and investor base while delivering high-yielding returns through our US real estate-backed investment portfolios.
Frank excels at advising investors on asset allocation through his diverse expertise in passive and alternative asset management strategies while leveraging the firm's multifamily real estate investments.
Vice President, Finance & Compliance
Ryan has over 10 years of investment accounting and compliance experience having worked at several firms in and around the greater New York City area.
He is involved in managing the firm's books and records, as well as, handling compliance-related functions.
Prior to joining Veloce Capital, Ryan worked as a Vice President/Accounting Manger at multiple fund administrators including; Morgan Stanley, State Street, and Citi Hedge Fund Services. Ryan has also worked at several small alternative investment firms handling the accounting and compliance functions.
Senior Analyst, Investor Relations
Ed has over 15 years of experience in investment management and financial services industries with direct client interaction with equities, annuities, funds, fixed income, and most importantly, real estate financial instruments.
In addition to providing his highly personalize one-on-one investor service, Edward excels in helping clients with investment allocation and portfolio enhancements at Veloce Capital. Every day, Edward maximizes communications between the investor relation team and each investor’s interest with data-back analytics on key performance and current market indicators.
Before joining Veloce Capital, Edward's breadth of experience spans across various financial firms like Ladenburg Thalmann, MetLife, and Mass Mutual Financial Group, enhancing Veloce Capital’s client understanding of investment options matched with in-depth know-how to process investment interests effectively.
Giselle has over 5 years of marketing, brand management, and business administrative experience, including an administrative role in a wealth management firm and a prior marketing role at a leading national distributor and manufacturer.
Prior to Veloce Capital, Giselle was Client Relations and Marketing Manager at Park Rock Capital, where she originated commercial real estate deals and managed marketing and social media campaigns, along with industry events.
With her dedicated team, Giselle shows great leadership and consistently implements innovative ideas to the management team at Veloce Capital to expand its reach in finding new acquisitions and investors.
